Legal status of the Foundation

The Yves and Gladys Cheng Foundation is a donor-advised fund managed by the Strategic Charitable Giving Foundation (registration number: 802678748RR0001). It is subject to the laws governing Canadian charitable organizations.

The Strategic Charitable Giving Foundation must approve all funding recommendations made by The Yves and Gladys Cheng Foundation. Once approved, the Strategic Charitable Giving Foundation issues cheques to the approved organizations.
