I am pleased to announce that we have completed our project to distribute the book Uashteu in each home of the 55 Natives communities of Quebec. We have distributed a total of 20,143 copies of the book. It is an unprecedented historical event. All these trips have etched unforgettable memories in my mind. I consider myself privileged to have met so many kind people. I thank the Lord Jesus who made this project possible, which in reality, is His. I thank again all the authors who have shared their experiences and their love for God in the pages of this book. I thank the production team for their many hours of work and professionalism. I thank each and everyone who participated in the distribution of the book. I also thank the Cheng Foundation for your generous financial contribution. This mission was a great experience. There will be eternal fruits. Glory to God!

As a full time ‘raise your own support’ worker, I am always amazed at how God meets my needs in the exact time and the exact amount needed. I want to thank the Cheng Foundation for standing in the gap for full time ministry workers like myself. I contacted the Foundation in a time where my support account was at an all time low. I was just about to send out a letter to my supporters telling them that I needed to drop down to part time hours due to finances. Days before the letter went out, I received funding from the Cheng Foundation for the exact amount I was missing to finish off the year in the black at full time (I had never indicated to them how much I needed – only to the Father above). I never did have to write that letter and have been in full time service without having to drop to part time. God is faithful.

Jeunesse en mission Montréal tient à exprimer sa reconnaissance à la Fondation Yves & Gladys Cheng. Avec leur soutien, nous avons pu, au cours des années 2014 et 2015, nous investir, avec Guillaume Tremblay et Xavie Jean-Bourgeault, dans la promotion et la diffusion de leur film documentaire, L’Heureux Naufrage. Nous avons participé à la première du film en septembre 2014 avec la présence de 1200 personnes. Nous avons aussi assuré les premières à Paris et à Bruxelles en hiver 2015. Pendant cette même période, nous avons participé à l’organisation de 6 soirées-conférences sur divers thèmes du film à l’Espace Lafontaine, le bistro au cœur du parc Lafontaine, avec une participation d’environ cent personnes à chaque reprise. Au cours de cette même année, le film a été présenté à la télévision de Radio-Canada à la grandeur du Canada à deux reprises et le Ministère de l’Éducation du Québec l’a ajouté aux ressources au Programme éthique et culture religieuse.
